ALATAS, besides carrying out Marine crane load testing via waterbags, also carries out regular load testing of Motor grabs, Radio Remote Controlled Grabs and Touch Down Grabs.
We use solid test weights for Grabs tested ashore (i.e. after a major structural repair of an accident grab) and we use waterbags and belts for load testing on board. Proof load calculations and load test certificates are available.
